Worked on stabilizing 6GHz WPA3-Personal Wi-Fi connectivity within the rdkcentral/rdk-wifi-hal repository, focusing on resolving persistent connection failures. Addressed a critical bug by ensuring BSS and beacon information were accurately associated with the correct radio band and that the appropriate radio index was used when processing Information Element data. This targeted fix improved the reliability of 6GHz WPA3-Personal networks and enhanced traceability for quality assurance by linking changes directly to the relevant issue. The work leveraged expertise in C programming, embedded systems, and network protocols, demonstrating a methodical approach to debugging and maintaining complex Wi-Fi infrastructure code.
