During July 2025, contributed to the kedro-org/kedro repository by centralizing test utilities within the testing suite. This work involved consolidating common helper functions into a single tests/test_utils.py file using Python, with a focus on code organization and refactoring. By deduplicating test helpers across the codebase, the changes established a single source of truth for test utilities, reducing redundancy and improving maintainability. The approach enhanced the reliability of the test infrastructure and streamlined onboarding for new contributors. No bug fixes were recorded, as the primary emphasis was on strengthening testing utilities and laying groundwork for more efficient future development.
