Worked on the puckeditor/puck repository to enhance cross-browser stability and maintainability of the plugin system using React and TypeScript. Focused on front end development, addressing a bug that affected the ordering of the Legacy Side Bar plugin in Firefox. Refactored the plugin sorting logic to ensure the legacy plugin consistently appears first in the Firefox plugin list, which improved rendering consistency and reduced the risk of regressions in plugin loading flows. The technical approach emphasized clarity and future maintainability, reducing technical debt and laying the groundwork for easier feature extension while ensuring stable UI rendering across different browsers.
