ArnoSen developed a dynamic property matching feature for the vmware/govmomi repository, enabling users to supply a filter function as a value for property.Match. This approach allowed for more flexible and adaptive filtering logic within the API, addressing the need for richer property selection in automation and tooling scenarios. The implementation was carried out in Go, leveraging skills in API development and property matching. To ensure reliability, ArnoSen also created a dedicated unit test that validates the new filter-based behavior. The work was delivered with a changelog entry, reflecting a focused and well-tested enhancement to the repository’s API surface.
