Worked on enhancing the reliability of Single Sign-On within the OpenConext-engineblock repository by addressing a bug in the entityID decoding process from login cookies. Focused on backend development using PHP, the work involved updating the parsing logic to correctly extract the entityID from a JSON payload, which previously risked incorrect Identity Provider auto-selection during user authentication. By refining cookie handling and ensuring accurate IdP routing, the changes improved the stability and integrity of the SSO flow. This targeted fix contributed to a smoother end-user login experience and reinforced the robustness of authentication mechanisms within the OpenConext-engineblock codebase.
