Worked on the IBM/webmethods-helm-charts repository to deliver a feature enhancing the API Gateway Helm chart, focusing on deployment health and maintainability. Consolidated readiness, liveness, and startup probe configurations into the Helm values file, improving Kubernetes readiness and making probe management more configurable. Reorganized the serviceName configuration to streamline future updates and reduce the risk of misconfiguration. Released these changes as a breaking update with a version bump to 3.0.0, ensuring clear versioning for downstream users. Utilized DevOps practices and YAML to implement these improvements, emphasizing clarity, maintainability, and reliability in Helm-based Kubernetes deployments throughout the development process.
