Arskarap focused on enhancing the asset upload experience in the strapi/strapi repository by developing a reusable drag-and-drop component for front-end workflows. Using React, Styled Components, and TypeScript, Arskarap introduced the DraggableAssetCard to standardize cursor behavior and improve the clarity of draggable asset interactions. The implementation included enabling className passthrough to AssetCardBase, allowing for flexible, project-wide custom styling and easier maintenance. Additionally, Arskarap addressed z-index overlap issues by elevating the checkbox wrapper, reducing interaction conflicts. This work provided a stable, maintainable solution for asset upload UX, reflecting a targeted and thoughtful approach to front-end development.
