In August 2025, Artem Grigorash enhanced the JetBrains/intellij-community repository by developing new UI functionality for database tooling. He implemented ToolWindowLeftToolbarUi buttons that provide direct access to the JPA Console and Persistence features, streamlining the workflow for developers working with databases. Using Kotlin for both UI development and automated testing, Artem focused on integrating these enhancements seamlessly into the existing interface. He collaborated with QA to ensure robust test coverage, introducing UI tests that support safer future refactoring. This work improved user experience by enabling quicker access to essential database tools and demonstrated depth in Kotlin-based UI integration and software testing.
