Worked on enhancing the pcottle/learnGitBranching repository by improving Russian language localization, focusing on both grammar corrections and the addition of new UI translations for commands, actions, and interface text. Utilized JavaScript to implement these changes, emphasizing documentation and internationalization best practices. Addressed existing localization gaps by delivering two targeted commits that refined Russian translations and expanded coverage for Russian-speaking users. The work improved the overall user experience and accessibility for a broader audience, while maintaining clear, well-documented code changes. This effort contributed to higher quality UI text and supported the repository’s goal of inclusive, multilingual learning resources.
