Worked on stabilizing the build process for the simonmichael/stackage repository by addressing critical compatibility issues in the Witness-related dependency graph. Focused on build system management and dependency management, the work involved removing restrictive version constraints and decoupling monadology-witness from open-witness-witness, which resolved persistent build failures across different environments. By clarifying and simplifying the dependency structure using YAML, the changes improved maintainability and reduced the risk of integration problems. This approach led to more reliable continuous integration workflows and enabled faster downstream adoption of Witness-enabled features, reflecting a methodical approach to resolving complex build and compatibility challenges.
