Worked on the thingsboard/swagger-ui repository to enhance compatibility with Node.js 20 and above by updating the method for opening external URLs. Addressed the deprecation of the open package by migrating to open-cli, ensuring reliable external link handling across diverse environments without altering the existing Swagger UI user experience. Focused on dependency management and JavaScript development, the work improved maintainability and future-proofed the codebase for upcoming Node.js versions. No user-facing changes were introduced, but the technical update reduced potential failures related to external links, demonstrating attention to robust backend integration and proactive support for evolving platform requirements.
