Worked on the Olink-Proteomics/OlinkRPackage repository to enhance the reliability and maintainability of continuous integration workflows. Focused on improving CI/CD processes by updating Ubuntu runner system packages prior to R CMD checks, which reduced compatibility issues and minimized flaky builds. Modified the GitHub Actions workflow to remove automatic Bioconductor version enforcement, allowing R CMD checks to proceed without a fixed BioC version and decreasing ongoing CI maintenance. Utilized R and YAML to implement these changes, emphasizing best practices in package management and workflow configuration. The work resulted in faster feedback cycles and fewer interruptions during automated testing and deployment.
