Worked on the mendableai/firecrawl repository, focusing on backend reliability and data quality rather than new feature development. Addressed a bug in the Playwright service API by ensuring the pageError field is included only when an actual error occurs, which eliminates unnecessary null values and brings the API response in line with the defined schema. This adjustment improves data consistency and simplifies downstream integration for clients consuming the Firecrawl API. The work was implemented using TypeScript and involved skills in API development and backend engineering, reflecting a careful approach to maintaining robust, predictable interfaces and enhancing the overall reliability of the service.
