During November 2024, contributed to the seb-oss/green repository by enhancing the GDS Input Component with a new usability feature. Developed and integrated an event, gds-input-cleared, which is dispatched when the clear button is pressed, allowing parent components to detect and respond to input resets. This work involved updating both the component’s logic and its associated tests to ensure robust event handling and coverage. Focused on front-end development and testing using JavaScript and TypeScript, the implementation improved component interoperability without introducing new bugs, reflecting a careful approach to feature delivery and code maintenance within a web components context.
