Worked on the botpress/botpress repository to enhance data integrity and error handling for Zai and Zui schema processing. Addressed a critical bug by implementing stricter schema validation in extract and patch operations, ensuring that only Zui schemas are accepted and non-conforming schemas are properly rejected. This update improved the reliability of Zai workflows by reducing downstream errors and providing more consistent error reporting. The solution was developed using TypeScript and full stack development practices, with comprehensive testing added to verify the new validation logic. These changes contributed to safer and more predictable schema handling across the platform’s core features.
