Worked on the ScoopInstaller/Main repository to enhance build reliability by updating the SCons build tool to version 4.9.1 and correcting the version-checking logic. This adjustment stabilized the build configuration across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, directly addressing issues with inconsistent continuous integration results and unpredictable packaging delays. The solution was implemented using Shell scripting and focused on build system management, ensuring reproducible builds for upcoming release cycles. By resolving a critical bug in the build process, the work contributed to smoother development workflows and more dependable release engineering, with all changes tracked through a dedicated pull request and commit history.
