During July 2025, Awhikax developed end-to-end backup rename functionality for the pelican-dev/panel repository, focusing on enhancing backup lifecycle management and auditability. Awhikax implemented a new API endpoint in PHP using Laravel, introduced a dedicated RenameBackupRequest for robust request validation, and integrated the rename action into the server management UI with Filament. The work included updating activity logging to capture rename events, improving traceability and troubleshooting. By delivering this feature, Awhikax addressed the need for more flexible backup management and ensured that all rename actions were properly logged, reflecting a thorough approach to backend and API development.
