Worked on the RustPython/RustPython repository to address a dependency management issue by upgrading the puruspe library from version 0.3.0 to 0.4.0. This update, implemented through careful modification of the Cargo.toml file, resolved issue #5496 without requiring any changes to the existing code logic, thereby maintaining stability and minimizing risk. The approach focused on improving build reliability and ensuring compatibility with the current Rust toolchain and dependency graph. Utilizing skills in dependency management and experience with TOML configuration, the work contributed to a more robust build process while preserving the integrity of the project’s existing Rust-based architecture.
