Worked on enhancing the test suite for the optuna/optuna repository by refactoring the test_hyperband.py module. Focused on replacing legacy string formatting with modern Python f-strings, this update improved both code readability and execution performance. The approach aligned the test code with current Python standards, making it easier for new contributors to onboard and reducing future technical debt. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work contributed to the maintainability and reliability of the testing framework. Utilized Python and testing best practices to ensure the changes supported faster, more dependable release cycles for the project.
