Worked on the speckle-sharp-connectors repository to deliver a configurable material layer color conversion feature for DWG and DXF imports, enhancing the fidelity of materials in imported designs. The solution was implemented as a configuration-driven option within the import pipeline, allowing users to enable or disable the conversion as needed and minimizing disruption to existing workflows. Using C# and leveraging file handling expertise, the developer ensured the new feature integrated smoothly with the current codebase. Additional work included code cleanup and formatting improvements, contributing to more consistent data transfer and reducing the need for manual adjustments during cross-platform design reviews.
