Worked on modernizing the user interface within the AxaFrance/design-system repository by refactoring the Af-contrat header component. Focused on replacing a legacy glyphicon with a Material Design SVG icon, the update involved adjusting margins and padding to ensure consistent and modern rendering across the header. This approach reduced visual inconsistencies and aligned the component with Material Design guidelines, simplifying future theming efforts. The work was implemented using React, CSS, and TypeScript, with styling consolidated into a single component to improve maintainability. The changes enhanced UI consistency throughout the design system and streamlined future updates to header icon usage.
