During March 2026, Bastien Deshayes enhanced the powsybl-core repository by implementing support for exporting time series data with non-contiguous versions, addressing the need for more flexible analytics and data handling. He extended the data model and export logic in Java to allow TimeSeriesTable to process arbitrary version lists, rather than requiring contiguous sequences. To ensure reliability and maintainability, Bastien applied test-driven development practices, adding comprehensive unit tests for CSV exports involving non-contiguous versions. This work improved the robustness of export workflows, preserved backward compatibility, and demonstrated strong backend development skills with a focus on maintainable, well-tested code.
