Developed enhanced OAuth2 client scopes support for the Apicurio/apicurio-registry Maven plugin, focusing on improving access control and authentication observability. The work involved updating the createClient logic to conditionally include clientScope, enabling more granular permissions for plugin users. Informative log messages were introduced to provide better visibility into authentication methods, aiding troubleshooting and operational traceability. The implementation leveraged Java, Maven plugin development, and OAuth2 integration, with careful attention to commit traceability and maintainability. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary focus remained on delivering new authentication features and strengthening the security posture of the plugin.
