During July 2025, contributed to the Combodo/iTop repository by designing and implementing the iSessionHandlerExtension interface, which enables extensibility for session data within iTop session files. This work focused on API design and backend development using PHP, introducing a mechanism for adding custom data to session files while maintaining alignment with project conventions. The interface was marked as experimental and intended for internal use, with documentation updates highlighting version availability and potential future changes. Across four iterative commits, the implementation refined naming conventions and ensured consistency, providing a foundation for future extensibility in session management without addressing bug fixes during this period.
