Worked on the US-GHG-Center/veda-config-ghg repository to update the CH4 and CO2 datasets, extending their temporal coverage through 2024. Focused on data curation and metadata management, the work involved refreshing metadata and citations to ensure all data references remained accurate and current. Using Markdown for documentation and metadata updates, the developer enhanced data governance and traceability by clearly versioning the changes in a dedicated commit. The approach prioritized minimal disruption to downstream workflows while improving the reliability and currency of the datasets. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on a single, well-documented feature update.
