Sijan Bhattarai updated the CH4 and CO2 datasets in the US-GHG-Center/veda-config-ghg repository, extending their temporal coverage to 2024 and ensuring all metadata and citations reflected the latest data versions. Using Markdown for documentation and applying skills in data curation and metadata management, Sijan refreshed point data file references to maintain accuracy and traceability. The work focused on enhancing data governance by clearly documenting versioned updates, which supports reliable downstream workflows. Although the scope was limited to a single feature over one month, the update improved the reliability and currency of the repository’s greenhouse gas data without introducing disruptions.
