Worked on enhancing documentation quality and automation for the huggingface/smol-course and huggingface/torchtitan repositories. Focused on improving Markdown documentation by correcting spelling and grammar, which increased readability and streamlined onboarding for new contributors. Leveraged Python and YAML to implement a codespell-based documentation polish and integrated a pre-commit hook into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring automated enforcement of spelling correctness in text files. Prioritized code quality and maintainability by restricting changes to non-functional documentation updates, while also conducting code reviews to uphold repository standards. These efforts contributed to more consistent documentation and a smoother contributor experience across both projects.
