Worked on the atlassian/atlascode repository to expand the CODEOWNERS configuration, broadening code review coverage and improving ownership assignment. Leveraging DevOps practices and configuration management, the changes added default ownership for additional team members and the BBY FOLKS group, ensuring more comprehensive and timely code reviews. The implementation involved two targeted commits that updated the repository’s CODEOWNERS file, aligning review responsibilities with evolving team structures. This work enhanced governance by clarifying accountability and streamlining pull request triage. The approach focused on maintainability and scalability, utilizing YAML and Git workflows to support efficient collaboration and robust code review processes across the team.
