Worked on enhancing the mealie-recipes/mealie repository by enabling authenticated Progressive Web App interactions, focusing on seamless offline and online authentication flows. Addressed backend communication challenges by configuring CORS and use-credentials within the Nuxt.js framework, allowing the PWA to reliably make authenticated requests regardless of connectivity. Leveraged frontend development skills and JavaScript to deliver a secure and robust solution that maintains consistent authentication state for users. The technical approach improved user experience by ensuring that authentication persisted across offline and online modes, while maintaining clear traceability through commit-level documentation. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts centered on feature delivery.
