Worked on the gitroomhq/postiz-app repository to enhance the publishing workflow for self-hosted deployments by removing the dependency on Stripe when it is not configured. Addressed the gating logic so that publishing posts no longer requires a Stripe subscription if the Stripe secret key is unset, thereby bypassing unnecessary subscription checks in the backend. This update improved usability and reduced friction for users operating without Stripe integration. The work involved backend development and API integration, utilizing TypeScript to implement the changes. The focus was on streamlining the deployment process and enabling faster time-to-publish for self-hosted environments without payment requirements.
