Contributed to apache/streampipes by enhancing asset management workflows, implementing an automatic asset filter reload and introducing a centralized Asset Data Service to streamline asset-link operations. This work, using Angular and TypeScript, improved the user experience by ensuring the interface remained synchronized with backend changes, reducing manual steps for users. Later, addressed Spark SQL compatibility in the spiceai/datafusion repository by developing a SparkPow user-defined function in Rust, aligning power function semantics with Spark’s behavior and adding comprehensive test coverage. These contributions focused on robust, maintainable solutions in front end development and data engineering, supporting reliable analytics and smoother user interactions.
