Focused on low-level programming in C, the work involved implementing a fix to accurately differentiate between AMD and Intel processors when reading Model-Specific Registers, ensuring correct SMM base address identification. Additionally, contributed AMD-specific Smbase validation using TestPointCheckLib within MinPlatformPkg, which strengthened platform initialization checks. These targeted improvements reduced SMM detection errors in multi-CPU environments, resulting in more stable firmware deployment. The efforts demonstrated depth in firmware development and system-level problem solving within a complex codebase.
