Worked on the dotansimha/graphql-code-generator repository, focusing on improving type safety in the vanilla TypeScript example. Addressed a bug where the execute function’s return type did not accurately represent the actual GraphQL JSON response, updating the TypeScript type definitions to ensure correctness when handling query results. Enhanced the project’s documentation using Markdown to clearly communicate the typing changes and provide better guidance for maintainers and users. This work reduced the risk of runtime type errors and improved the developer experience for those relying on the vanilla example, demonstrating attention to both technical accuracy and clear communication in collaborative environments.
