During December 2024, Bugomol enhanced the niccokunzmann/open-web-calendar project by refining Belarusian date localization within the user interface. Focusing on internationalization and localization, Bugomol updated short month names and day abbreviations in YAML files to better reflect common Belarusian usage, improving both accuracy and readability for end users. The work was delivered through Weblate, ensuring translation consistency and maintainability across the codebase. Although the contribution was limited to a single feature and did not involve bug fixes, the update strengthened the calendar’s localization readiness and provided a more user-friendly experience for Belarusian-speaking users, supporting future internationalization efforts.
