Worked on the ScrollPrize/villa repository to enhance reliability and data integrity in a desktop application built with C++ and Qt. Addressed a critical issue in the SeedingWidget by implementing remote-volume path validation, ensuring neural trace execution only occurs when a valid local filesystem path is present. This update included user-facing error messaging and UI-state adjustments to guide users through remediation steps, reducing silent failures. Additionally, contributed comprehensive documentation for the scroll-data-audit tool, detailing its function in reconciling metadata with Zarr arrays and validating multiscale pyramid structures, thereby strengthening open-data validation and supporting collaborative development across teams.
