Developed a structured bug reporting workflow for the Pan-Canadian-Genome-Library/daco repository by introducing a standardized Bug Report Issue Template. This template, implemented using Markdown and integrated with GitHub’s issue tracking system, guides users to provide detailed bug descriptions, steps to reproduce, expected behavior, screenshots, and environment details. The approach focused on enhancing documentation quality and streamlining the triage process, resulting in more reproducible and actionable defect reports. No major bugs were addressed during this period, as the primary effort centered on process improvement. The work demonstrates attention to detail in documentation and effective use of collaborative development tools.
