Using YAML and leveraging configuration management and template management skills, Oscar introduced mandatory fields that surface critical release and compatibility information at the triage stage. This approach improved issue tracking by enabling earlier visibility into release timelines and potential constraints, reducing downstream rework and supporting more accurate release planning. The work focused on template-driven standardization, ensuring repository consistency and cross-team alignment. While the scope was targeted, the solution addressed a key process gap with a well-defined technical implementation.
