Worked on a focused user interface icon refresh for the LMS-Community/slimserver repository, delivering updated icons to enhance visual consistency and user experience. The project involved introducing distinct icons for various browse modes and aligning the popular artist icon with the popular album icon to achieve visual harmony. Leveraged Perl for development tasks and utilized SVG asset management, integrating Material Icons 6.1.0 to support the new iconography. Emphasized UI/UX design principles and front end development practices, with all changes tracked through Git-based version control. The work improved navigation clarity, reduced visual friction, and strengthened branding alignment without addressing major bug fixes.
