During May 2025, work focused on the InfraWatch-inc/web-data-viz repository, where a monitoring data archival feature was developed to automate periodic backups to Amazon S3. Using JavaScript and Node.js with the AWS SDK, the implementation introduced a bucket controller and a configuration-driven approach to bucket naming, allowing for flexible and production-ready data retention strategies. This solution addressed the need for improved disaster recovery and reduced manual backup processes by enabling seamless, automated archival of monitoring data to cloud storage. The feature was designed for traceability and maintainability, with all changes linked to a specific commit for future reference and auditing.
