Worked on the SmythOS/sre repository to enhance GenAI integration by upgrading the core Google Generative AI SDK connectivity. Migrated the backend to the latest SDK version, updating import statements, type definitions, and method calls to ensure compatibility and leverage new features. Addressed a TypeScript typing issue in the GenAI Node module by introducing a declaration file and refining import paths, which improved type safety and resolved conflicts. Utilized JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js to deliver these changes, resulting in improved reliability and maintainability for language model-powered features and enabling faster iteration on backend capabilities involving API integration.
