Worked on the PointTils/Frontend repository, delivering five new features over two months with a focus on frontend architecture and user experience. Built a unified app header component using React Native and TypeScript, establishing a reusable navigation pattern with theming support and consistent icons across mobile and web. Developed a SearchFilterBar for the HomeScreen to improve appointment discoverability and implemented a FeedbackModal for collecting user ratings and comments, integrating it with a backend API using typed requests and validation. Updated dependencies for Expo SDK 54 compatibility, emphasizing maintainable code formatting, dependency management, and UI/UX consistency without addressing bug fixes during this period.
October 2025 monthly summary for PointTils/Frontend highlighting feature delivery, bug fixes, and business impact. Key features delivered include a HomeScreen SearchFilterBar to filter appointment cards by user queries, improving searchability and user efficiency. A new FeedbackModal enables user feedback collection with a star rating system and comments, accompanied by UI refinements (layout, interactive stars, input styling, and a lucide close icon). The FeedbackModal was also integrated with the backend ratings API, introducing typed requests/responses, new endpoints, and hooks to support rating submission with validation and a loading state. Expo SDK 54 compatibility was achieved by updating dependencies to ensure stable builds and access to latest features. These efforts were complemented by targeted UI/UX fixes (alignment, button/input behavior) and formatting improvements for maintainability and consistency.
