Worked on the sapcc/limes repository to deliver a targeted feature enhancing SnapMirror capacity metrics. Refactored capacity queries to leverage generic metrics from the Manila service, centralizing query logic for improved maintainability and scalability. This approach enables faster control and updates while laying the foundation for scalable capacity visibility and easier future enhancements. Introduced new metrics, including netapp_snapmirror_capacity_total_bytes_for_limes and netapp_snapmirror_capacity_used_bytes_for_limes, to provide more granular insight into storage usage. The work focused on backend development and cloud infrastructure, utilizing Go to implement a generic query approach that streamlines metric additions and supports ongoing improvements to telemetry and monitoring.
