Worked on AvaloniaUI/avalonia-docs to enhance documentation accessibility for Chinese-speaking developers by delivering two focused feature updates over two months. Applied technical writing, localization, and translation skills to update and refine Simplified Chinese (zh-CN) translations, ensuring terminology consistency and improved formatting. Used Markdown and XML to clarify instructions for adding controls, event handlers, and describing UI elements, aligning Chinese documentation closely with the English source. The work addressed onboarding challenges and reduced localization-related support needs by correcting file references and standardizing language. No bugs were reported or fixed, reflecting a targeted approach to documentation quality and translation accuracy.
