Worked on accessibility improvements for the adobe/aem-core-forms-components repository, focusing on enhancing form controls to meet WCAG standards across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms. Addressed accessibility issues by adding aria-labels to checkbox groups and adjusting datepicker contrast using CSS and HTML, ensuring better usability for users of assistive technologies. Delivered a feature that marked the tab label container as a heading, improving semantic structure and screen reader support. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to validate changes and maintain consistent behavior across devices. The work established a stronger accessibility baseline, reducing support issues and enabling smoother future enhancements in front end development.
