Leveraged Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka to implement an event-driven architecture, integrating Firebase Cloud Messaging for reliable delivery and MySQL for persistent storage. Designed and deployed a dedicated notification module, complete with database schema, Docker-based configuration, and production-ready environment setup. Focused on end-to-end testing, including notification viewing, marking as read, and bulk sending, while refining configuration management to support seamless staging and production rollout.
