Worked on the ray-project/kuberay repository to deliver a critical upgrade to the storage collector, focusing on backend development and cloud storage integration using Go. Upgraded the Aliyun OSS Go SDK from version 1 to version 2, which improved both functionality and performance for storage operations. The work included removing unused code and imports, such as the deprecated CreateObjectIfNotExist function, to streamline the codebase and reduce maintenance overhead. Updated configuration documentation to reflect the new SDK requirements, ensuring future maintainability. This targeted feature work enhanced storage reliability and positioned the project for smoother SDK upgrades and ongoing backend improvements.
