Focused on improving maintainability and onboarding, the work involved creating a detailed README.md that explains the module’s algorithm, current status, input parameters, and data objects, as well as outlining potential future improvements. By standardizing documentation practices and clarifying data contracts, the developer enabled smoother integration, testing, and validation for new contributors and downstream users. The technical approach emphasized clear technical writing and effective use of Markdown, with supporting references to C++ code, ensuring that the documentation remains accessible and useful for the project’s workflow.
