
Developed a comprehensive 2D channel Windkessel simulation case within the Xiangyu-Hu/SPHinXsys repository, establishing a robust test environment featuring coupled fluid and solid bodies, inflow and outflow boundary conditions, and detailed particle generation. Leveraged C++ and Python to configure fluid dynamics, implement regression and unit testing, and ensure reproducible simulation outputs. Addressed a bug in the SMAX parameter to enhance the physical fidelity of the test case, directly improving simulation accuracy. The work strengthened the framework’s multi-physics capabilities and provided a clear, extensible setup for future validation and experimentation in numerical simulation and fluid-structure interaction research.
