Worked on the SkylineCommunications/dataminer-docs repository to enhance documentation for Dataminer’s redundant polling feature. Focused on consolidating interface switching logic, including timeouts, retries, and handling invalid SNMP parameters, the work clarified complex behaviors for users configuring redundant polling. Used Markdown to restructure headers and refine language, improving readability and guidance. Added scenario-based switching examples and a new illustration to support onboarding and troubleshooting. Expanded discard metrics to include multiple time units, making system observability more actionable. The documentation updates aimed to reduce misconfiguration and support needs, with a clear commit trail ensuring traceability and maintainability of the changes.
