Developed the initial homepage scaffold for the RUMHousing online marketplace within the uprm-inso4101-2024-2025-s2/semester-project--uprm-online-marketplace repository, focusing on front end development using HTML. Established a reusable HTML structure featuring a main heading, a lodging container, and three sample lodging items, each with descriptive content and a More Info button. Integrated external CSS to ensure consistent styling and maintainability. Updated the site’s branding from UPRM Marketplace to RUMHousing directly in the index.html file, aligning the user interface with new product goals. This work laid a clear foundation for future feature expansion and user-facing enhancements.
